I love summer. I love busy times filled with family and celebrations nearly every weekend. I love trips to Logan, enjoying the amazing weather up there (no, it hasn't gotten too hot yet), and I love the slower pace life seems to have (at moments).
Last weekend Lily and I made the journey to Logan early Saturday morning (Wow was working again :( ). We rode up with Sarah and met up with the rest of the fam. Some of us ventured out to Logan's annual Summerfest. I have to admit I was a bit disappointed with Summerfest this year. I haven't been in a few years, and maybe I had built it up too much in my own head. I was so looking forward to seeing the crafties and the quilts and the homemade kids stuff, and there wasn't hardly any of that! Way too many paintings and scultpures and weird copper stuff. Oh well. We went and we did enjoy ourselves! (Although in this picture the kids aren't fooling anyone - they were DONE, but Beck & Sarah can always pull of a fabulous shot!)
We also celebrated Father's Day with the whole fam. On Saturday night after Dad made it home from taking the crew to see Indiana Jones, we gave him a new grill! It surely wasn't what he was expecting, but I think he really liked it. Dave organized the whole thing, and he and I put it together while everyone else was at the movies.
(Why is my kid always the dirtiest??? Look at those hands!)
Lily had to inspect along with the guys!
The weather was so gorgeous that evening we all just hung out outside and visited. Papa (my dad) took Lily for her first walk.
Much like the walk I took with my own Grandpa:
(Like mother like daughter - we both were a little distracted and had our own agendas!)
I wish I could have spent more time with my own husband on Father's Day. I really did miss him as I was making breakfast for the guys in Logan and throughout the day. His work schedule makes me crazy sometimes. I just hope he knows how much I love him! Thank you, Wow for being my baby's daddy! There isn't one who could love her more than you do! And for that, I will always love YOU!

I LOVE the pictures of Lily with dad then you with Grandpa. Good coverage of the weekend! We missed Seuao too. :(
What does Seuao do? Does he have certain hours he works every week, or does it change from week to week? Chad works 6 days a week and I don't like it! But come August, he'll get rid of Saturdays. Hallellujah!!
