I drank it, and I liked it....
(I'm gonna have to blame the sleep deprivation.)

Pumpkin Patch!
We braved the COOOLLLDDDD weather today and met up with our friends to see the pumpkin patch! It was so fun! I think Lily mostly enjoyed just being out of the house!
She just loves hanging out with other kids though and had so much fun chasing and trying to keep up them. I felt bad though - I had so many layers of clothes on her, she could hardly walk! Poor kid kept falling down! Maybe that's why she loved little Lincoln so much - he stayed put!
We had a great time! Thanks Jodi & Hilly for such a fun afternoon!
Aah, the sign of a successful afternoon outing!

Keys
Seriously - I worry about myself. Where have the brain cells gone????
About a month after the 4th of July key fiasco, I got a random phone call from the Cache County Sheriff's office. Apparently the officer had been pulled off the side of the road, and someone pulled up next to him, told him they found these keys a while ago, and didn't know what to do with them (don't get me started on what they COULD have done with these keys!), and the officer was able to track me down thanks to my gym membership key-tag thingy. So, the keys were recovered, and life was good.
Today, I packed up the girls, and we were headed to Costco. I LOVE that Costco is around the corner from me, and we were just going for a quicky trip. I stopped at the mail box, grabbed the mail and headed on my way. It wasn't until I got to Costco, located a shopping basket, and had pulled both kids out of the car when I realized that I left my keys in the mailbox at home. (Everything detaches from my ignition key so I can keep the car running.) Since the kids were unloaded, and we were only going for a few things, and it wasn't yet 5:00 when everyone gets home in my neighborhood, I decided just to hurry and grab them when I get home.
I got home, no keys.
I plowed through the car, just in case I wasn't as crazy as I suspected, but no - no keys.
Seuao was home when I got home, and reassured me everything was going to be ok, but he is working nights the past couple of weeks, and someone out there has my house key! That'll make already sleepless nights even more sleepless! He searched the car for me and came up empty handed as well. We put a note on the mail box, in the hopes that someone was trying to find the owner...
Well, tonight I was upstairs getting ready to put Lily in the tub, when I hear the horn on my car beep... A couple of times... Someone out there has my keys! I ran downstairs and outside, but didn't see anyone. Puzzling.
Back upstairs, proceeding to prep Lily for her bath... DING-DONG DING-DONG
A neighbor guy from a few houses down was there, WITH MY KEYS!!!! Apparently his little girl had found them, and gave them to her dad to figure out whose they were.
All I can say is thank heavens this guy didn't hang onto them for a month like the guy in Logan did!
And seriously - I've GOT to do something about these brain cells!

Happy Birthday Becca!!!
Today is Rebecca's birthday! I figure once we're in our 30's, we just really don't need to keep track of our ages anymore, right? Let's just celebrate!!
Last Saturday the fam all came over for a pre-birthday lunch for her. I feel bad it wasn't more organized, and lets face it, all of these babies, all of their parents, Ella and that darn school bus toy are a sure fire formula for major chaos!!!
It was so nice to hang out though! I love that our family all makes the effort to get together for occasions like this even when they seem totally impractical. We did take advantage of the opportunity to take the first picture of all SIX cousins...
(I stole these pictures from Becca's blog - I love her caption to this next picture: Rach went to rescue, and the kiddos scattered!!! I love this shot! Benny is falling down, Lily is making a run for it, Mia is outty, and Noah is moving on to the next adventure. Ella is smiling, though!)
For those of you that know Rebecca, you don't need to be reminded what an amazing person she is. Growing up we were mostly enemies. We fought a LOT. We had to make pacts at Girl's Camp to keep the peace at all costs! Somehow though after my mission, we became best friends! Here are a few of the things I love most about my sister:
- Her generous heart
- Her ability to sell "ice to an Eskimo!"
- Her work ethic
- Her talent in choosing paint colors and home deco
- She can create beauty in anything she touches
- Her makeup is immaculate
- Her bump on her nose (hey we're all human!)
- Her example of motherhood to me
- She ALWAYS looks amazing in pictures
- Her rhyming genius
- Her tenacity
- Her friendship
