Yesterday was my sister Sarah's birthday. This may be a day late, but I couldn't let the occasion totally pass without telling her how wonderful she is!!!
This girl just has it together. Rebecca, Mary and I call her "single and fabulous!" When I was 24 and single, I certainly was NEVER as fabulous as this gal is! She graduated from the U about a year ago and is now working for DCFS as a social worker. What a job! She tells me some of the issues she has to deal with, and I know I could never handle the stress and emotions that go along with these poor kids she is helping. To work in a profession that literally changes lives like she does is so amazing to me. But what else could I expect from this girl!
Here are just a few things that I love about Sarah:
- Her understanding and compassionate heart
- Her love for her nieces and nephews
- Her uncanny ability to ALWAYS look amazing in photgraphs
- Her wardrobe & jewelery
- Her laugh
- Her cute shower curtain that she took with her when she moved out :(
- Her courage to stand up for what she knows is right and true
- Her good attitude
- Her ability to move from crush to crush without blinking an eye
- Her example to me in so many ways
