Here are some of my favorite things about Tessa right now:
- How she gives "hugs" - mainly she just leans her head in, and expects the "hugee" to do the work - cracks me up!
- When you ask for a kiss - she'll give you her cheek - you have to specifically tell her you want a real kiss, then she'll give you one!
- She has such tender feelings - she can definitely sense when I'm upset with her and she'll tear up and cry.
- She's not super into sharing - in fact she wants pretty much everything Lily touches. Yeah - we're still working on that.
- She's got a major temper-tantrum mastered. That girl can wail!
- Her singing - she loves to play with the barbies and she'll make them dance and she'll sing and sing and sing. Granted, her singing consists of long, LOUD mono-toned pitches. Lily is always telling her "That's too loud, Tessa!" - seriously, you can't hear ANYTHING over it! But I love it!
- I love her run - it's so girly! She kind of holds her hand close and flings them around while she runs - it's hillarious!
- I adore her deep brown eyes - I could look at them forever.
- I even love her little mullet - I just can't cut her hair yet!
- She is OBSESSED with gum! She is always asking for it, and almost always swallows it... You'd think I'd learn...
- Tessa is a caretaker - she loves taking care of her babies - she makes them little beds, feeds them and cuddles them. She truly loves them.
- She loves doing puzzles lately.
- She's not a super patient story listener. We're lucky if we get a couple of lines per page done before she's wanting to move along!
- She walks at her own pace - this girl will not be hurried!
- She is trying to hard to talk and will string four and five "words" together, but most often it sounds something like "Ma dee dah doo bah?" Yeah - figure that out...
- Tessa loves loves LOVES her mommy - and I love that she does!
- She always wakes up happy
- She adores her Papa
- She is SO sweet with puppy dogs - she loves them
- She loves all things girly - lotion, makeup, jewelery, hats, shoes,
- She can't wear a hoodie without having the hat on.
